American, born in Asia of Dutch descent, grew up in California, U.S.A. She has a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston University and has taught stress management and assertiveness training for adult education and in private practice. As a business consultant with the Münchner Berater Team, she advanced the idea of "wellness” as an integral part of Human Resources in German industry. From 1999 to 2002 she was owner and General Manager of changingBerlin, International Relocation Consultants GbR. She is also active in civic and charitable organizations and is presently Vice President of the Berlin American Club e. V., International Women for Welfare as well as being a member of the Berlin International Women’s Club e. V. and the American Chamber of Commerce.

American, grew up in Florida, U.S.A. and has lived and worked in Germany since 1983. Juris Doctor, Florida State University; L.L.M., Goethe Universität, Frankfurt/Main. She worked in a large U.S. law firm in Frankfurt from 1987 to 1993, counseling clients on international licensing, distribution or management agreements, on contracts with the U.S. Goverment and on the cultural nuances of doing business in the U.S. or Germany. She also assisted German companies in obtaining Green Cards for their employees in the U.S. Since moving to Berlin with her family in 1993, she has worked in acquisition of real estate in and around Berlin. She is active in civic and welfare groups in Berlin, and is a member of the BAC, International Women for Welfare, and the American German Business Club Berlin, which she has served as President.

German-Venezuelan, was born and grew up in Venezuela. She studied Interior Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, U.S.A. She has lived in Germany since 1980 and worked as an interior designer in Hamburg and Berlin. She has an interpreter’s diploma for the languages German and Spanish and many years' experience in assisting international companies in Germany in their representations at trade fairs and business congresses. She has also worked in the hotel branch as an interpreter, visitors guide and hostess director. She worked from 2000 to 2002 in the communications section of the Hotel Grand Hyatt, Berlin. She is also an experienced tourist guide in Berlin and has been a member of the Berlin International Women’s Club e. V. for many years.
